To end this year's Festival, our Festival Finale will be a celebration of the work of the great Russian composer, Tchaikovsky. Nicola Benedetti, BBC's Young Musician of the Year 2004, and Sophie Cashell, BBC's Classical Star 2007 will be honouring us with their performances of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D major and Piano Concerto No.1 in B Flat minor. The City of London Orchestra, conducted by Dougie Boyd, will complement these works with some of the greatest orchestral pieces from the Classical repertoire.
The evening will conclude with a fantastic fireworks display in the East Front Gardens.
